The Laboratory for Stochastic Mechanical Systems & Automation (SMSA) specializes on statistical methods for the estimation, analysis, prediction, fault diagnosis and control of stochastic mechanical signals and systems. These include mechanical (vibration, acoustical and other) signals, as well as industrial systems, mechanical structures, electromechanical systems, as well as vehicle and aircraft systems.
